App: Payment Spliter | Package: com.paymentspliter | Developer: Vional IT Service LLP
Vional IT Service LLP ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Payment Spliter mobile application (the "App") for Android and iOS devices. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you download, install, or use the App.
Payment Spliter helps you split a total amount in Indian Rupees (INR) into one or more UPI
payment QR codes. You enter your UPI ID, name, total amount, and the maximum amount for a
single QR code. The App builds upi://pay links on your device and shows them as
QR codes so someone can pay you with a UPI app.
We are committed to protecting your privacy. The App is designed to work without creating a user account. We do not sell your personal information. We do not operate payment accounts, and we do not receive or hold the money shown on the QR codes.
To generate QR codes, you type the following into the App. This information stays in the App's memory on your device for the current session:
Each QR code encodes a UPI payment link that includes your UPI ID, name, the split amount, currency (INR), and a short note such as "Payment 1 of 3". Anyone who can see the screen or scan the code can read that information.
We do not require you to register, sign in, or provide your email address or phone number to use the App.
Information you enter is used only on your device to:
We do not use this information for advertising, profiling, or marketing.
The App does not move money. When someone scans a QR code, their own UPI app (such as Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM, or another UPI app) reads the payment link and handles the transfer through UPI, their bank, and the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), according to those services' own terms and privacy policies.
We do not receive a copy of the payer's name, UPI ID, bank account, or transaction reference. We do not get a callback when a payment succeeds or fails. Marking a QR as paid inside the App does not notify a bank and does not confirm that money was received.
We do not control and are not responsible for the privacy practices of UPI apps, banks, or NPCI. Review their policies if you have questions about how a payment is processed after a code is scanned.
We do not collect, host, or maintain on our servers:
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
The Android package includes the standard internet permission used by the app framework. The current version of the App does not send your UPI ID, name, amounts, or paid status to our servers.
The App does not ask for access to your contacts, camera, microphone, photos, SMS, or location. Generating and showing QR codes does not require those permissions.
We do not sell your information and we do not upload what you type to our systems. Information can still leave your device in these situations, which you control:
The App is a payment helper and is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). UPI payments are intended for people who are allowed to use a UPI app and a bank account. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
Because your details stay on your device for the session, their security also depends on your device (screen lock, who can see your screen, and OS updates). Treat the QR codes like a request for payment: anyone who scans them can start a UPI payment to the UPI ID shown.
No method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. Once a payer's UPI app reads a code, that payment is handled by the UPI app, the banks, and NPCI, not by us.
You can:
Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under applicable data protection laws (such as access, correction, or deletion). Because we do not store your App session on our servers, we cannot retrieve or delete that session from our systems. Contact us using the details below if you have a request about information we actually hold.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App, legal requirements, or our practices. When we update this policy, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
